Delete your Lumideo account

From the app

Open Lumideo, go to Profile → Settings and tap Delete my account. Once you confirm, deletion starts right away.

Without the app

You don’t need to install it. Email privacy@lumideo.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete account”. We delete the account within 30 days and email you when it’s done. If you write from a different address, we’ll first ask you to confirm the account is yours.

What we delete

• Your profile: name, email, username and photo. • The capsules you created and the ones you received, with their videos and written replies. Capsules you sent to other people disappear for them too. • Contacts, groups, invites, favorites, notifications and reports you filed. • Feedback you sent from the app, subscription data linked to the account, and which Apple campaign you came from.

What stays, and for how long

• Anonymous or pseudonymized usage statistics (Firebase Analytics, PostHog), which don’t contain your name or email. • Error reports in Sentry, which are deleted automatically after 90 days. • If you had unsubscribed from some emails, your address with that choice, only so we don’t email you again. • Data the law requires us to keep, for as long as the law requires. Lumideo Premium is billed by Apple or Google: deleting your account doesn’t cancel it. Cancel it first in your store settings.
