Your videos are not stored on your device; they live in your cloud account. Download Lumideo on your new phone, sign in with the same account, and everything is exactly where you left it. No capsule is lost.
No. It is the heart of Lumideo: once sealed, nobody can open it early — not you, not us. The opening date is final. If you sent it to someone else, they cannot open it early either.
Only you and the recipient you choose. Videos are encrypted both in transit and while stored. Nobody on our team can watch the contents of your capsules.
It is a fair question. Videos are stored on Google Cloud Storage, the same infrastructure behind Google Drive and YouTube. If the service closes, we will notify everyone at least 90 days in advance and provide a way to download their videos.
No. The date is locked the moment you seal the capsule; that is part of what makes the wait real. Choose carefully before you tap the button.
Yes. They receive an email invitation. When they sign up, the capsule is already waiting — sealed and ready for its day. They can join whenever they like.
Sent capsules cannot be deleted once they have been sealed.
The difference that matters is distance: on the free plan capsules reach two years ahead, with Premium twenty. Free also gives you two-minute videos and thirty capsules a month, while Premium takes that to ten minutes per video and seventy-five capsules, for €3.49 a month or €24.99 a year. And if you just need a few more, you can buy capsules in packs without subscribing.

My name is Fabrizio D'Urso. I've been writing software for sixteen years and I built Lumideo on my own. There's no marketing department and no investor waiting to resell your data: there's one person, with a first and last name, who answers the emails.
